PSCA hosting Fall Cleanout waste collection event
Do you have old electronics sitting around your house? Well now is the time to get rid of them with the Fall Cleanout from the Passyunk Square Civic Association.
On Saturday, October 10 you’ll be able to get rid of old electronics, household waste and documents that need to be shredded at the Termini Brothers Bakery’s parking lot at 1523 S. 8th St.
Electronics including things like laptops, radios, cell phones, keyboards and printers will be accepted. Acceptable household waste includes paints, household cleaning products, automotive products, flammable materials, fluorescent light tubes and household batteries.
While there is a long list of items that can be accepted, the event unfortunately cannot take appliances, microwaves, vacuums, tube TVs and unmarked household hazardous waste.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. If you have questions about what items can be accepted, you can email trash@passyunk.org. You can learn more about this Passyunk Square waste collection event here.
So the address listed on the PSCA flyer is wrong……
