‘Globally inspired artist boutique’ opening at 1529 Reed St.

If you’ve ever shopped at the Reading Terminal Market, there’s a chance that you’ve seen Amazulu, a jewelry, art and home decor vendor.

Amazulu is now bringing a storefront to 1529 Reed St. This new location will be called The Living Room and will be a “globally inspired artist boutique.”

This new artist boutique will stock items from the Amazulu custom jewelry line, in addition to items from artists both local and world-wide. In addition to functioning as a shop for home decor and more, the owners hope to create a community space that will host workshops and events to teach and inspire. Upcoming events include a monthly workshop on decorating to promote home peace and tranquility and a photo exhibit from artist Babara Kigozi.
