Queen Village Neighbors Association hosting ‘Conversation on Community’ tonight
Since the election, many are concerned about what the future holds. There’s been vandalism and unsettling activities in South Philly and elsewhere in the city, which has been unsettling to much of the community.
Queen Village Neighbors Association wants to have a “Conversation on Community” as an open forum for neighbors to discuss their concerns and thoughts on the future with a panel of community leaders, ranging from faith leaders to elected officials. This panel discussion will be happening Thursday, November 17 at the community organization’s monthly meeting.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss bridging these divides that have been created in this South Philly neighborhood and beyond.
In addition to the open forum of discussion, there will be board elections for QVNA. You can find out more about the candidates for the QVNA board here.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at 416 Catharine St.
It appears there’s a discrepancy with the event location between this article and the QVNA event page:
https://www.eventbrite.com/e/qvna-general-meeting-and-election-tickets-29333362878
QVNA lists the location as:
Weccacoe Community Building
416 Catherine St, Philadelphia, PA 19147
Thanks for pointing that out! It appears that location was switched from when we initially received the event info. It’s been corrected in the post.
